Founded in 1963 by Miran Balik, Antik Silver is a family firm that has reached the present day without sacrificing any of its traditional production techniques. Second-generation Istepan Balik has taken over the firm and made it one of Turkey’s very few manufacturers of silver objects exporting all over the world. Antik Silver produces all its products by hand. It has adopted the protection of traditional production techniques in their original form and the question of transferring them to future generations as a mission and is working to this end. It tries to reflect meticulously in every product the workmanship of engraving, hammering, chasing, spinning and openwork techniques that have been almost forgotten worldwide. As well as production and export, the firm is also the Turkey and Middle East agency for firms who have become brand names for the manufacture of silver objects abroad. Antik Silver uses 925-karat silver and shows the required sensitivity in producing good quality and original products. The sensitivity it displays on the question of quality has made the firm the preference of palaces and luxury hotels.
